We already knew that the science fiction anthology Love, Death, and Robots, produced by Netflix, will be returning for a third season. The good news is that we already know what to expect thanks to a new trailer.
What’s New?
As is customary, the presentation will include short animated stories that are normally classified as science fiction, horror, or fantasy, but can also fall into other genres. However, what truly distinguishes Love, Death, and Robots is the wide range of stories that it presents. This season’s animation is no exception, with animation ranging from hyper-real to shaded by cel trippiness in terms of style.
What’s More?
Netflix has said that the new season will consist of nine episodes, and if there is a unifying element – other from the aforementioned love, death, and robots — it could be that they are all based on animal characters.
Digging In More Details
Giant crabs, rat warriors, cyborg bears, and what appears to be an astronaut cat are among the creatures featured in the trailer. Aside from that, there aren’t many subtle sods among billionaires in the IT industry. The third volume of the show, which was produced by Tim Miller and David Fincher, will be available for streaming on May 20.
