Every time a new Nintendo flagship game comes out, a Special Edition Switch follows. Nintendo announced the orange and grape-flavored OLED Switch to accompany Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
What’s New?
The Nintendo Switch – OLED Model: Pokémon scarlet & violet Edition – will ship on November 4th and cost $359.99.
This is making the fancy paint job scarlet and violet‘s new legends Koraidon and Miraidon worth $10 more than the ordinary stark white SWOLED.
Along with the new SWOLED, Nintendo published a new trailer for ScarVi, which provides us with more insights about the game.
What’s More?
The video featured the “bad” Team Star, a gang of rebellious kids who live in their own autonomous zone, which is amusing because Paldea is partly based on Spain, a country fighting with independence movements.
Pokémon Politics aside, the trailer also depicts your student helping a high school student uncover the mythical Herba Mystica.
Digging Into More Details
It requires entering Pokémon Titans’ lairs, like Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Pokémon banned! Gym fights complete the game. Victory Road puts your pupils against talented Gym Managers.
ScarVi will have a new gameplay feature called “Let’s Go” According to a press release, a trainer can send out a Pokémon to prowl the wilds, gathering up goods and auto-fighting any Mon they might face.
Scarlet and Violet are coming to Nintendo Switch on November 18.
