A few months ago, Valve released the Steam Deck, a “small” portable game console that can run PC games. Some maliciously use emulators, but many PlayStation exclusives can be played on the Steam Deck. Some consider the Steam Deck a new PlayStation Portable.

Steam Deck Has Play Station Exclusives

Sony’s PC exclusives have been available for months. Games like Days Gone, Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War, and Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered stand out.

Death Stranding and Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade are examples. So many “verified” Steam Deck games that work perfectly.

What’s More?

Naturally, if the games in question on PlayStation can be primarily played on the living room console through the Steam Deck, you can have a completely nomadic experience.

Making a game portable makes me more inclined to play it in little parts, so I used a few minutes here and there to fix police antennae and unlock more of the region, says Jay Peters of The Verge.

“Handheld” PlayStation Games

The latter is akin to Zelda: Breath of the Wild for Nintendo Switch, a significant game that can be played on the TV and console.

Spider-Man on Steam Deck has a lower frame rate and less glossy textures than the PS4 version. Spider-Man tends to make Steam Deck fans shout.

Digging Into More Details

Sony has already ported several blockbuster and exclusive games on their portable Steam Deck.

Miles Morales and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will debut this year, as will the PC version of The Last of Us. Returnal may also launch for PC.

In other words, the Steam Deck, without forming a PlayStation Portable worthy of the name, may swiftly become a privileged venue for many players to enjoy Sony’s best exclusives without a PlayStation system.
