With The New Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G

For 2022, Motorola releases a new version of the Moto G St ylus 5G with several excellent features – and a higher price of $ 499 as a result. The G Stylus 5G in 2022 features a 6.8-inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a more powerful 600 series Snapdragon processor, a fixed main camera, and plenty of built-in storage. The Moto G 5G, which costs $399, is also making its North American debut. (It was first released in Europe earlier this year.)

What’s New?

The 120 Hz display for smooth action and scrolling is the most significant addition to the 2022 G Stylus 5G – not to be confused with the Moto G Stylus for 4G only. The screen is a 1080p LCD with a 16-megapixel front camera. A 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization is mounted on the rear. In the mid-range category, stabilization is less prevalent, which should imply greater opportunities for clear images in low light. A macro camera with an extraordinarily wide 8-megapixel sensor as well as a 2-megapixel depth sensor are included.

The Snapdragon 695 5G chipset is also used in this year’s G Stylus 5G, which is an advance from last year’s 400 series processor.

What’s More?

It also has 8 GB of RAM, which is a bit more than the standard 4 GB or 6 GB found in mid-range phones. This should outperform the 4G version of this phone, which suffers from our major gripe with last year’s model: that the update was insufficient to justify the higher price.

A 5,000 mAh battery, 256 GB of storage, 5G support below 6 GHz (including C band frequencies), a headphone jack, a microSD card slot, and a charger are included in the box. What does this mean for thinkers? A pen is also included, which is saved on the phone and allows for more precise writing and dot production.

Both phones will come with Android 12 out of the box, with Motorola promising a future operating system upgrade.

Digging In More Details

The Moto G 5G (pen-free) features a somewhat less powerful set of specs. A MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor with 6 GB RAM, a 6.5-inch 720p LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, and a 50-megapixel primary camera with no stabilization are all included. A 5,000 mAh battery, a headphone jack, a microSD card slot, a charger, and 256 GB of built-in storage are all included in the box. For $399, this is a really good package of features.

Both phones will come with Android 12 out of the box, with Motorola promising a future operating system upgrade. The Moto G Stylus 5G will be available for pre-order starting today and will be released on April 28. On May 19, the Moto G 5G will be available.
